Directions
Each group meets together and makes a list of 10 items that could be found in a specific location.
The teacher identifies the search parameters so students know how to choose their items.
The teacher decides the specific number of items based on availability and participants' skills. After each list is finished, groups swap lists.
At the teacher's signal, each group sets out to be the first to find all 10 items on their list and place them inside the bag.
At the end of the allotted time, have all teams gather in a central location and display their list and items.
You can give prizes for:
the first team back
each team that finds all the items on their list
the team that found the most unusual item
the team whose list had a theme
use your imagination to create fun and zany prize categories When participants are finished with their nametags, have them share the information in small groups.
